ARTWORK: Photography, Film & Writing
Peckham, My London
Eleven coloured photographs, edited in Photoshop. A film edited in PremierePro, audio edited in Audition
I was inspired by the layout and essence of 'Time Out' magazine, and decided to create a detailed ten page zine to document my photography, and articles narrating my perception of hair shops, and the human relationship with hair. The zine can be read and found on my portfolio page, "Art Galore Zine & My Work Analysis."
My outcome is set and inspired by Peckham in South East London, where I was partly raised. I also created a film to emphasise the busy and unique essence of Peckham. The audio in the film was recorded on the street Rye Lane, as the area is usually loud, and can be a sensory overload at times, hence the bright colours, quick cuts and fast pace of the film.
